Biography

Peter Colombatto is a strategic marketer, brand manager, and creative storyteller. As Assistant Vice President for Marketing at Lindenwood University, Peter is responsible for developing and managing Lindenwood’s system-wide marketing strategies, focused on conceptualizing, building, and executing integrated campaigns through competitive research, channel determination, messaging, and benchmarking. Before joining the institutional marketing office in 2020, Peter was the Director of Marketing and Communications for Lindenwood University's College of Arts and Humanities and the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts (2014 - 2020).

Peter develops impactful marketing campaigns that drive enrollment in Lindenwood's traditional, online, continued education, and international programs. Projects include launching and evaluating promotional campaigns with a focus on building brand awareness, generating new and continued business, and return on investment. Peter collaborates with dedicated teams to ensure quality branding across all channels, oversees the development of digital and traditional media, participates in organizational strategic planning, and manages creative, web, and integrated marketing teams.

In addition to his formal role, Peter is a strategic contributor to several of the organization’s non-marketing related initiatives. He was a member of Lindenwood’s Staff Council (2014 - 2017), and in November of 2020, Peter was appointed to the university’s Committee on Accreditation, a mission-critical strategic team dedicated to preparing the organization for a successful evaluation from the Higher Learning Commission planned for 2023-2024.

Considering community engagement a high priority, Peter is a member of the St. Charles City Digital Media Commission and the Special Events and Promotions Task Force. Peter also serves on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education Cabinet for District VI, Mid-America
